The Grenville Queen Anne Shingle Company started as a result of the owners of a 1902 Queen Anne Victorian home not being able to find any new or used Victorian metal roofing shingles/tiles similar to the original ones on their house. Drawing on 25 years of experience and expertise in the fabrication business and the desire to restore the roof to its original style, the decision to produce a metal shingle was made. Six and a half years of research and development in Ottawa and the nearby Municipality of North Grenville resulted in the production of a six shingle interlocking system that can be installed with regular roof jacks. Throughout this process, many people expressed interest in our shingle, resulting in the establishment of our manufacturing facility. We look forward to serving the building industry and discerning homeowners for years to come. Contact us for more information on how we can help.
